Dorsetdog - Breed rescue / welfare
Please feel free to send in web addresses of your breed's rescue and welfare pages
Breed rescue / welfare refers to a dog rescue service offered by the national and regional breed clubs.
The rescue / welfare officer holds details of dogs of that club's breed that are available for re-housing.
If you have a pedigree dog that you need to rehome, please consider contacting the breed's national club rescue team.
The Kennel Club has a web page that lists the contact details of each Breed club's rescue officer

The West of England rescue covers quite a wide area. It includes Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. They are a very hard working band of dedicated people led by our rescue co-ordinator Miss Gillian Greenall. Helpers are always needed. Gillian has to cover many miles to collect dogs and if anyone can help in any way she is always grateful for the offer. If you need to re-home your dog or would like to give a loving home to one of our rescue dogs please contact.
