Driving home in the snow

It never snows in the UK, right? But when it does then the UK comes to a complete standstill.

So if you're away from home and it snows, then how do you drive home to you pets?

Have you heard of Snow socks, by Autosock? A cover that goes over your driving tyres to give you grip in the snow.

Forget about carrying heavy chains, these are light and take up little space in the boot. I leave mine in the car all year, so I know they'll always be there if I need them.
